Mr. Bhupesh Gandhi joins the MARIS Management team as Director of Asia Pacific
MARIS open offices in Singapore
With the continued growth and success of MARIS in the electronic based chart systems, digital services, data recorders and PC radar processing systems, MARIS has appointed Mr. Bhupesh Gandhi to head the Business Development and further expansion of the company in the Asia-Pacific Region
Mr. Gandhi has obtained MBA Degree from University of South Hampton.
He is a Master Mariner (FG), from Ministry of Surface Transport, India and started his shore career with teaching, first at LBS CAMSAR and later at T.S.Rajendra, followed by T.S.Chanakya.
His first commercial career was as General Manager with Ispat Industries Ltd Mumbai, followed by a 3 years stint with IMS Ltd Mumbai as Director Commercial and later moved to Seabuzz Ltd in year 2000 heading an IT venture by Venture Capitalists setting up the first Digital Marketplace of Indian Shipping Industry.
He joined India First Logistic Ltd Mumbai in 2001 as Director.
Prior to this appointment, he worked in Teledata Marine Systems as Asst. Vice President in Singapore and Later as Vice President Marketing – Asia Pacific for Transas Marine Pacific. From Transas, he decided to join MARIS to head MARIS Asia Pacific expansion.
He joined MARIS as Director – Asia Pacific on 16 August, 2006 with the responsibility for Business Strategy, Organization Development and the Sales and Marketing of MARIS products and Services in the Asia-Pacific Region.
